Hannan signs, all restricted free agents will be at camp

Scott Hannan, the last remaining restricted free agent, signed with San jose today. Terms of the contract were not released. Hannan scored 3 goals and 19 assists in 81 games last season.

- San Jose swapped center Chad Wiseman for 6ft, 190 pound NYR prospect Nils Ekman. As a left wing for the Hartford Wolf Pack of the AHL, Nils scored 30 goals and 37 assists in 70 games.

- 1st round pick Milan Michalek signed with San Jose on Monday.
- The defunct World Hockey Association has scheduled its "rebirth" for March 2004. The Orlando Seals and the Miami Manatees have already taken two of the better team nicknames.
